Dr. David Sperber is an art historian, curator, and art critic. In 2012, he co-curated the international exhibition “Matronita: Jewish Feminist Art” at the Mishkan Le’Omanut, Museum of Art, Ein Harod in Israel. Sperber’s articles have appeared in numerous publications, including academic periodicals, museum exhibition catalogs, and popular media. Sperbers’ forthcoming book, based on his PhD. dissertation is entitled Devoted Resistance: Religious Jewish Feminist Art in the US and Israel, 1990-2017. As a postdoctoral Associate at the Institute of Sacred Music, Yale University, Sperber is currently at work on his second book entitled Liberating Body, Earth, and God: Helène Aylon’s Jewish-Feminist Art in the United States, 1970–2017

Dr. Yossi Ben-Zion is a senior faculty member and is the Deputy Head of the Physics department at Bar-Ilan University. Dr. Ben-Zion has a BA in physics and computer science, a Master’s degree in physics with honors and a PhD, all from Bar-Ilan University. During his PhD studies he was awarded the prestigious Wolf Prize for outstanding doctoral students and was elected several times as an Outstanding Departmental Lecturer. Dr. Ben-Zion was elected three times (!) by the University as an Outstanding University Lecturer and is considered a first-class lecturer with the ability to convey material in a clear and organized manner, creating interest among the students. He invests his time and effort above and beyond in his teaching, and the results are reflected in the students’ achievements. Recently Dr. Ben-Zion was ranked among the 57 most beloved lecturers in Israel by a comprehensive study conducted by the Student Union and the Mako site. Over the years, Dr. Ben-Zion has taught the course “Introduction to Physics-Mechanics” several times, in various frameworks, and has accumulated knowledge and experience that have improved the method of teaching so that the course’s material will be clear, interesting and suitable for students on different levels. Dr. Ben-Zion built the digital course after much thought based on the conclusions he has drawn over the years in order to create a course with wide appeal to anyone who studies in this field

Dr. Mor Presiado is an art scholar and a lecturer at the Department of Jewish Art at Bar-Ilan University. She studies and delivers lectures on such topics as modern and contemporary art, gender and women’s art, the art of the Holocaust and art and trauma. Her publications appear in leading journals and they mostly focus on women’s creations during and after the Holocaust, as well as on the influence of feminism on the art of the Holocaust. In addition to her academic pursuits, Dr. Presiado also serves as deputy chairperson of the Association for Women’s Art and Gender Research in Israel.

Aren Maeir is a professor of archeology at Bar-Ilan University and the head of the Archeology Institute. He is a world-renowned authority on the archeology of the land of Israel and the ancient Near East. Fatima Salih Hamuda from the village of Bu’eine Nujeidat is a doctoral student in the Physics Department at Bar-Ilan University.
Holds a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree (with honors) in physics from Bar-Ilan University.
During her bachelor’s degree years, she was the recipient of a nanotechnology scholarship for outstanding students in the field of exact sciences, which provided her with a full tuition waver and a monthly stipend.
During her master’s degree years, she was the recipient of the scholarship by the “Supreme Institute for a Theoretical Master’s Degree for Outstanding Members of the Arab Sector”, as well as a scholarship for excellence and distinction in academic studies from her advisor, Lev Khaykovich.
During her doctoral studies’ years, Fatima received a scholarship from the university’s president for outstanding scholars and later received a scholarship from the Supreme Institute for Outstanding Doctoral Students Among Members of the Arab Sector.
Her field of study during her master’s degree and doctoral studies focused on atomic physics and quantum physics.
Fatima teaches several courses at Bar-Ilan University, including “Introduction to Mechanical Physics”, “Electricity and Magnetics” and “Atomic Physics”.
Fatima was named one of the forty most promising individuals under forty in Israel by The Marker magazine, affiliated with Haaretz newspaper.
