The Introduction to Physics – Mechanics course, also known as Physics 1, is a classical mechanics course that is suitable for students in introductory undergraduate courses, pre-university courses, physics matriculation and anyone who feels that Physics always interested them but they don’t know how to get started.
The course is presented by Dr. Yossi Ben-Zion from the department of Physics at Bar-Ilan University and is intuitively built with examples, demonstrations by the end of the course you will be able to solve advanced mechanics problems, but more importantly you will be able to look at the phenomena happening around you and understand why they happen, and predict events that have not yet happened.
During the course we will learn about the movements of bodies, different forces in nature, energy, momentum and more.

ד”ר יוסי בן ציון הינו חבר סגל בכיר וסגן ראש המחלקה לפיזיקה באוניברסיטת בר אילן. בוגר תואר ראשון בפיזיקה ומדעי המחשב, תואר שני בפיזיקה בהצטיינות יתרה ותואר שלישי, כולם מאוניברסיטת בר אילן.
נבחר ארבע פעמים (!) על ידי האוניברסיטה כמרצה מצטיין אוניברסיטאי ונחשב כמרצה מן השורה הראשונה, בעל יכולת העברת חומר בצורה בהירה וסדורה, תוך יצירת עניין בקרב הסטודנטים.
דורג בין 57 המרצים האהובים ביותר בישראל במחקר מקיף שערכה התאחדות הסטודנטים ואתר Mako.
לאורך השנים לימד ד”ר בן-ציון את הקורס “מבוא לפיזיקה מודרנית” ועוד קורסים רבים בפיזיקה, במסגרות שונות, צבר ידע וניסיון ושכלל את שיטת ההוראה והעברת החומר של הקורסים על מנת שיהיה ברור, מעניין ומתאים לסטודנטים ברמות השונות. יוסי חי ונושם הוראת פיזיקה ורואה בה שליחות. את הקורס הדיגיטלי בנה מתוך מחשבה מקיפה ועל בסיס המסקנות שהסיק לאורך השנים על מנת שייתן מענה רחב לכל מי שלומד את התחום.
