This is the official course of the state on behalf of the Digital Israel Headquarters, in collaboration with the National Center for Examinations and Assessment (MALO) – the body that composes and passes the psychometric exam, and it is the only course in Israel that includes real psychometric questions from past tests. The course is taught by Lior Cohen and Elad Schweitzer – experts for the psychometric exam and the authors of the textbooks of “Psycho“, with about 20 years of experience in the field.

The course is free of charge and allows full and comprehensive preparation for the psychometric exam. In addition, there is an enhanced route at a cost of NIS 720 (details in the next question).

• Study plan – includes daily study tasks according to the duration of the study time you set (what lessons to see, what to practice, etc.). You can choose a study duration of two, three or four months, and in any case you can progress through the program at your own pace (faster or slower).
• Video lessons – study lessons in all subjects, available 24/7 without limitation.
• Practice – real psychometric questions from past tests in all subjects. You can practice on the website or download free PDF files of the course books. For your convenience, you can order the books printed from the ordering system at cost prices (NIS 290 for 9 books).
• Simulations – PDF files of the simulations can be downloaded for free. For your convenience, you can order the printed simulations from the ordering system (NIS 180 for 10 simulations including complete solutions).
• Learning systems – learning words, analyzing simulations, practicing calculations and more.
• Computerized connection testing – a unique system developed by MALO that checks connections automatically. The topics of essays that can be checked appear in the personal area.
• Support from instructors – throughout the study you can ask unlimited questions in discussions (forums) on the website.

The enhanced track is designed to provide additional framework and support, and includes:

• Joining a class with a personal instructor
• 28 one-hour online classroom lessons (Live in a system similar to Zoom)
• 3 private online lessons lasting half an hour (Live in a system similar to zoom)
• Testing 3 connections
• Class WhatsApp group (for ongoing management and messages from the instructor)

Cost: NIS 720

First, it is important to understand that the classroom and private lessons are available only to the students of the enhanced track. The class and private lessons are conducted online in a virtual classroom system, and a camera and microphone are needed (a phone headset is sufficient). The virtual class runs on a normal website – there is no need to install a special software or application.

• Classroom lessons – you choose the days and hours of the classroom lessons when you register for the augmented track in the reservation system. Please note that these are fixed times throughout the course (for example, Sunday + Wednesday hours 19:00-20:00).
• Private lessons – you coordinate the times of the private lessons with your personal instructor after the first classroom lesson.

In the ordering system , you can order the following items:

• Registration for the enhanced track – NIS 720.
• Book set (9 books) – NIS 290.
• 10 simulations with full solutions – NIS 180.
• Connection test – NIS 50.
• Another private lesson (beyond the 3 you get in the enhanced course) – NIS 70 for half an hour. Booking a private lesson is only possible for students enrolled in the enhanced track.

The practice in the course exists as an interactive practice on the website, but you can also download the PDF files of the books and simulations for free. However, since these are thousands of pages, they can be ordered from the order system at cost prices (9 books for 290 NIS and 10 simulations with full solutions for 180 NIS). The books and simulations arrive with a courier to the house, the shipping cost is NIS 37 (it is better to order them together in order not to pay double shipping).

Under each video and each question there is a “discussion” button where you can ask questions and get answers from the instructors. If you signed up for the enhanced track, in addition to the discussions, you also have 3 private lessons throughout the course.

It’s a personal decision for everyone, but it’s worth knowing that today the majority of psychometric students in Israel study in a campus course, and the vast majority of students say that studying in the course is much more comfortable than they initially thought, and even more comfortable than studying in a regular class – on the one hand, there are the advantages of studying at a personal pace , and on the other hand there is ongoing support from instructors as well as the enhanced track for those who need additional framework and support. However, one should pay attention to the difference between the structures of the chapters and the time allotted to them in the normal exam compared to the combined one. During the marathon period it is recommended to solve simulations of the combined exam from the MALO website.

Absolutely yes, the course is also suitable for those who will be tested with adaptations – these are the same questions and the same study methods. The only difference will be in the simulations, which must be performed according to the times and adjustments that are in the exam itself. For example, those who have a permit for a calculator will be able to use the calculator in simulations as well, and those who will be tested in the MPAM (psychometric test on a computer), must solve the questions in each chapter in order, without skipping or going back, and work according to the times of the MPAM.

Absolutely yes, the course is suitable for preparing for the Amir or Amiram test, which are tests that include only the English part of the psychometric (exactly the same questions). You can learn and practice the topics in the English field, as well as use the course dictionary, which is also available in downloadable files, as an application (name of the application: X-Campus), and in the Quizlet application.
