Bezalel is a groundbreaking academy: most of its study programs were the first of their kind in Israel when they opened. Departments
At Bezalel there are 8 departments for undergraduate studies: industrial design, ceramic and glass design, visual communication, art, screen arts (animation and other cinema), photography, goldsmithing and fashion and architecture.
In addition, Bezalel holds 5 master’s degree programs, intended for bachelor’s degree graduates from a variety of fields and educational institutions: master’s degree in arts, master’s degree in industrial design (in the tracks ‘About Design’, ‘Design Management’ and ‘Design and Technology’), a master’s degree in policy and theory of the arts (in the ‘curations’ and ‘review’ tracks), a master’s degree in urban design and a master’s degree in visual communication.
