The Israeli National Digital Agency is the body entrusted with promoting the digital revolution in the public sector. The agency is subordinate to the Minister of Economy and Industry, and serves as the technological headquarters body for government ministries and public bodies.

The Higher Education Council (HEC) outlines the policy of the higher education system and the Planning and Budgeting Committee (VAT) is responsible for planning and budgeting. They strive to develop research and teaching, promote quality and excellence, and make the system accessible to the entire population.
