The college provides a training solution for the combat supporters and headquarters employees in the Israel Fire and Rescue Service and trains foreign officials and volunteers for the firefighting professions.
The trainings at the college are developed by training teams who are experts in their field and are held to high standards that are in line with international standards and subject to the competence and the operational doctrine dictated by the fire and rescue operations department.
The college has a number of professional majors in accordance with all the content worlds that exist in the fire and rescue system: firefighting and rescue major, hazardous materials major, fire protection and investigations major, command and leadership major, and medical degrees. The trends, led by the training development branch at the college, emphasize the development of learning with a holistic view in the training sequence, while responding to the gaps according to the changing operational challenges, in order to provide the employee and the fire fighter with the advanced tools for acquiring knowledge and imparting the skills required to successfully fulfill their role.
