Dr. Nirit Gavish
Dr. Nirit Gavish is a researcher and lecturer in the fields of Human Factors Engineering and User Experience. Nirit is a faculty member at the Braude Academic College of Engineering in Karmiel and a teaching fellow at the Technion.
Today, the college operates under the approval and budget of the Council for Higher Education and trains for the “Bachelor of Science” (B.Sc.) and the “Master of Science” (M.Sc.) degrees. The college provides its graduates with a relevant engineering education, in professions required in the Israeli industry, and according to this policy, it constantly develops new study programs that will suit the needs of the economy. In addition, it maintains a unique study program, which includes specialization in industry and even in research institutions in Israel and the world. This policy has proven itself over the years – many of the college’s graduates are employed at the end of their studies in top-class companies, factories and research institutes in Israel.

Yakir Yaniv, Chairman of the Israeli Ergonomics and Human Factors Engineering Association and CEO of ED&U. He has been involved in integrating human factors into complex systems since 2006.
Yakir has extensive experience in various industries, including defense, medical product development, and industrial machinery development. He participated in establishing the User Experience track in the B.A. program for Behavioral Sciences at the Academic College of Tel Aviv-Yaffo and was a member of the teaching faculty. He is a partner in various working groups in the field, and he serves as an instructor and lecturer in different settings. Yakir holds a Master’s degree in Industrial Design from the Technion.
